A professional singer since 1986, Kasandra truly knows how to capture an audience.
A gifted performer, her dynamic range and soulful stylings are always deeply felt
and authentic whether she's crooning French classics at Twin Palms; swinging
standards at the Wrigley Mansion Millennium Celebration or feeling good singing
James Brown. The audience can't help but become a part of the performance as
she shares her talent with passion, playfulness and a genuine love of people and life.
Recently returning from a year in Vienna, Austria, Kasandra was the in-house
entertainment at all corporate events for The Siemens Group, one of Europe's
largest corporations. Her first performance in Europe was the Grand Opening
Celebration of the Kursalon-Heubner - a beautifully restored health spa -
transformed into an amazing event venue. Because of this performance, she
was invited to sing at the birthday celebration of the Mayor of Vienna,
where she received a standing ovation after returning to the stage for an
encore. At the Romy Awards (the Viennese equivalent of the Oscar's) the
band members informed her that the elegant gentleman waving at her from
the dance floor was one of the most famous actors in Germany. Traveling
only confirmed her belief that people are the same wherever you go and music
is still the universal language.
Her most recent project was a cabaret-style musical/comedy called "Queen of Clubs", written by herself and Caroline Waters - another amazingly talented singer/songwriter/musician. It was inspired by all the hilarious conversations they had about life, love and the pursuit of the perfect hairdo! They received an outstanding review from Metro L.A. and had a wonderful time during their 5-week run at Masquer's Cabaret and Dinner Theater. She has since taken that cabaret experience and incorporated it into her solo performances. Entertaining at some of the most beautiful private homes and parties in L.A.
